David Cameron Elementary offers a variety of activities for students to be involved from sporting activities to clubs. Below is a partial list of activities that typically happen in a school year. Some activities may not be offered from one year to the next due to a lack of volunteers. There may however be more opportunities available as new staff and community members offer their expertise and interest.
Sports Council Activities: The Sooke Sports Council supports the following guidelines - The Sooke Sports Council supports the following guidelines: - To encourage maximum participation in all sporting events. - To promote enthusiasm amongst the students by allowing them to participate in extra-curricular activities. - To not cut students from teams, allowing all students to attend practices. - To allow all students who attend practices to play a significant amount of games throughout the season. - To take a reasonable number of students to a game.To have students attending the game play the same amount of time.
